This creates important implications for national economies, foreign capital investments, bank regulations and domestic legal regimes. Despite their different approaches to systemic solutions, the involvement of International organizations such as the IMF and the UN offers an opportunity to rethink how to better address global financial implications in sovereign debt restructurings.
