LatCrit XIV - Mock "Job Talk" for Law Teaching Aspirants A "job talk" is a presentation and defense of a work-in-progress by a law faculty candidate during a typical campus hiring visit. This session is intended for those LatCrit XIV attendees who are interested in but have not yet embarked upon a legal academic career, and could benefit from a live demonstration of a job talk by a master teacher and scholar.
