Ambassador Wegger Christian Strommen, Ambassador of Norway to the United States, 2007-present. Ambassador Strommen previously served as Norway’s permanent representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva (2005-07), Deputy Permanent Representative of Norway’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York (2002-05), as well as Deputy Permanent Representative to the U.N. Security Council and Chairman of the Security Council Working Group on Peacekeeping Operations (2000-02). David Bosco, Assistant Professor of International Politics at the American University School of International Service. Professor Bosco is the author of Five to Rule Them All, a history of the UN Security Council. Formerly an attorney at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, he focused on international arbitration, litigation, and antitrust matters. He also writes the Multilateralist blog for Foreign Policy magazine
